About the Role:

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join their team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in delivering single and two-stage tenders on behalf of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cost plans and budgets in alignment with the Bid Strategy, tailored for each construction project.
  • Collaborate with Surveying and Operational teams to formulate competitive tenders.
  • Engage with specialist contractors for competitive and precise costings.
  • Contribute to constructability and value engineering discussions.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior Estimating team members.
  • Generate or outsource Bills of Quantities as needed.
  • Participate in tender review and adjudication meetings.
  • Involvement in post-tender and tender interview meetings alongside senior team members.

Requirements:

  • HNC/Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Capable of independently pricing jobs. Would suit someone currently working as an Estimator, or a Quantity Surveyor looking to move into Estimating.
  • Residing within a commutable distance to Bedford.
