As a key member of our Research Governance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of research governance and sponsorship across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Review and manage research studies for sponsorship, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless research governance and sponsorship processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including research institutions, funding agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on research governance and sponsorship matters, ensuring that our organization remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research governance policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Postgraduate-level qualification or equivalent extensive experience in research governance, sponsorship, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of national R&D priorities and developments, as well as UK Research Governance Framework and ethics procedures.
- Knowledge of legislation and regulation relevant to healthcare research, including DOH, NIHR, Research Council, and Charity funding streams.
- Proven experience in review of research studies for sponsorship in the UK, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
