Fawkes & Reece is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legislative, corporate, and other requirements related to Health and Safety.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate compliance with Health and Safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in the coordination of activities related to the implementation, development, and maintenance of Safety Management Systems.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Health and Safety best practices are integrated into all aspects of the business.
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
- CSCS card holder.
- Strong understanding of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits.
- Knowledge of current and impending Health and Safety legislation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to train and educate employees at all levels.
- Self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrable achievement in a similar role.
- Experience working in a similar environment (excavation, earthworks, utilities).
