Adult Nurse Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our community care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult clients and their families.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in managing complex care packages and leading a team of carers. You will be responsible for creating personalized care plans, working closely with the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring that clients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans specific to individual client needs
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and physiological needs
  • Deliver nursing interventions, including the management of medicine delivery
  • Build and maintain sophisticated relationships with clients' families
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care
Requirements:
  • RGN with an active NMC PIN
  • Supportive management style that can bring out the best in others
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the MDT
  • Suitable for Band 5 / Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs
  • Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential
Benefits:
