We are seeking a highly skilled General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in East Grinstead, West Sussex. This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to work with adults of working age from the local area and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the Trust-wide consultant network and access peer support from colleagues in West Sussex. This role offers a range of benefits, including a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, in addition to a relocation allowance of up to £8,000.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe Consultant Psychiatrist will work closely with other services in the local area, including the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team, the Liaison team, and acute in-patient services. This role also offers opportunities for research, development, medical education, and special interests.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of clinical excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements- Qualification in medical education, clinical research, or management
- Experience of working in a community mental health setting
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
The salary for this role is £105,504 to £139,882 per annum (pro rata for part-time working).
