Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Long Term Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated inclusion team at LTF Recruitment Ltd. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and emotional progress of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a thriving Primary School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with academic tasks and provide emotional support to students with SEN
  • Work closely with the inclusion team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure seamless integration of SEN students into mainstream classes
  • Provide tailored support to students with diverse needs, including those with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being among students

Requirements:

  • High-calibre Degree from a reputable British University (ideally in a Psychology-related field)
  • Empathetic disposition and collaborative attitude
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable adults (desirable)
  • Passion for education and emotional progression of young people in crucial stages of development
