About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide high-quality support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEN, developing and implementing personalized learning plans
- Assist teachers in the classroom, preparing and delivering lessons, and supporting students with their academic and personal needs
- Collaborate with the SENCO and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Recent graduate in a Psychology-related degree
- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
