Our client is in search of a reliable and proficient Building Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of their enthusiastic team in Salisbury.

Job Description:


In the role of Building Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our client's premises.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine upkeep and repairs on building structures, including carpentry, painting, plastering, and general construction tasks.
  • Addressing urgent maintenance requests promptly and ensuring all duties are executed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and interruptions.
  • Assisting with minor plumbing and electrical tasks as necessary.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations consistently.
  • Collaborating with other team members and departments to deliver a seamless service.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable position, preferably within facilities management.
  • Strong abilities in general maintenance activities including carpentry, painting, and plastering.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • A full UK driving license is desirable.
