PRIMARY ROLE


As part of our ongoing growth, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Cable Prep Technician to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of cabling and connections utilized within the events sector and thrive in a bustling warehouse atmosphere.

A background in live event production is advantageous but not mandatory.

Collaboration is essential to our culture, as all departments work together to achieve shared goals, and our team members are the cornerstone of our long-standing client relationships.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Hands-on preparation of equipment (primarily within the cables and mains distribution departments, though involvement in other warehouse divisions may also be necessary) for productions and dry hires, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Cleaning and recoiling cables returned from productions and hires.
Checking in cables returned from productions and hires.
Ensuring all cables and flight cases are functional, clean, maintained, and presented to meet our standards.
Maintaining organized and tidy workspaces.
Testing cables including Cat 5/6/6a, Socapex, and 3-phase mains.
General servicing, maintenance, and repair of cables.
Loading and unloading of vans and trucks.
Occasional deliveries, collections, and site work (a full UK driving license is beneficial but not essential).
Upholding high Health & Safety standards and adhering to company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY ATTRIBUTES OF THE CANDIDATE

WORKING HOURS


For those with the relevant experience, it is understood that this role does not adhere to a traditional 9 to 5 schedule.
