Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Plumbing Assessor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking team within the Directorate of Health, Education & Service Industries. As a Plumbing Assessor, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing apprentices engaging and high-quality learning experiences in Plumbing.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching & Assessment: Design and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of learners, ensuring all students receive a comprehensive education in Plumbing.
- Practical Instruction: Liaise with learners and industry partners to plan and execute practical learning days, ensuring safety and educational value.
- Student Support: Monitor and assess learner progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in professional development to stay current with industry standards and educational best practices.
- Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and safeguarding requirements, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Enrichment Activities: Participate in the college's enrichment programs and support the planning of educational trips and visits.
- Teaching qualification (DTLLs, PGCE, or equivalent) Level 4 – desirable
- A1 Award or equivalent or willing to work towards within 6 months
- Level 3 qualified in Plumbing
- Experience in delivering high-quality learning experiences and managing a diverse range of learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners.
