Practice Development Nurse

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Development Nurse to join our Neonatal Unit at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating education initiatives within the specialty, leading and taking continuing responsibility for the in-service development of all nursing staff working within their area of specialty.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and coordinate education initiatives within the specialty
- Lead and take continuing responsibility for the in-service development of all nursing staff working within their area of specialty
- Provide leadership and motivation to establish clinical practices, which is research/evidence-based and lead to standard setting and regular audit in line with the Trust's commitment to Clinical Governance
- Monitor and review clinical and professional standards of care, reporting on performance, and instituting remedial action where necessary
**Requirements**
- Registered Nurse (RN1/RN2/RN12 or RN Child) on the NMC register
- Practice teacher qualification
- Specialist professional knowledge of mentorship, education, and development practice to Masters level or equivalent
- Evidence of continuous personal, professional, and academic development
