About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Team Lead to join our team at Zenovo, a pioneering life-science start-up based in Cambridge. As a Test Team Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our embedded and desktop applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the test strategy and implementing test strategies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of testing activities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring that complex concepts are understood and translated into well-tested, high-quality code.
  • Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing of software products.
  • Identifying and reporting defects, working with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of software products.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of driving test strategy and leading test teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of test engineers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python.
