Exciting Opportunity for IT Testing Manager

This is a fantastic chance to be part of a global strategic transformation programme as our client looks to replace its existing ERP across multiple locations.

As the IT testing manager, you will take full ownership of the testing from plan to execution ensuring a smooth transition.

Multinational manufacturing organisation which has enjoyed continued growth and is expanding in to new markets.

In this role you will design and execute the testing of a new ERP system as it is introduced across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project requirements and organisational goals.
  • Define the scope, objectives, and schedule for testing activities, ensuring that all testing processes adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, regression, integration, performance, penetration and vulnerability testing.
  • Identify, track, and manage defects and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of testing requirements and deliverables.
  • Act as the testing workstream lead into global ERP Programme, providing plans to Project Managers in collaboration with other workstream leads, identifying dependencies, risks and ensuring milestones are achieved.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates on testing progress, risks, and issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience of integration testing on large programmes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 plus bonus and benefits.
