Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts and Stores Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our parts department, ensuring seamless inventory control and efficient order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of parts and materials, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process and dispatch orders to customers and service teams in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, perform cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Administration Background: Proven experience in inventory management, parts control, or a related field.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
  • Organizational Skills: High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
