Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining the gardens to a high standard.
• Engage in a variety of horticultural tasks, including hard and soft landscaping projects.
• Perform general garden maintenance such as mulching, pruning, leaf clearing, and weeding.
• Utilize machinery including hedge cutters, leaf blowers, lawnmowers, and tractors.
• Support the planting and upkeep of trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants, and seasonal bedding.
• Interact with garden volunteers and the public, providing assistance and guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Professional training as a gardener or horticulturalist with substantial practical experience and a strong understanding of plant care.
• Possession of RHS Level 2 or an equivalent qualification.
• Confidence in participating in garden activities and events.
• Proficiency in the use and maintenance of gardening machinery, with necessary health and safety compliance.
