About the Role:
First Intuition is on the lookout for ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualified accountants to enhance their growing team. Previous teaching experience is not a prerequisite, as thorough training will be provided. The ideal candidates will possess qualities such as enthusiasm, a sense of humor, an engaging personality that inspires others, and a robust accounting background to deliver effective sessions to learners.
Role Responsibilities:
- Facilitating classes for AAT, ACA, CIMA, and ACCA professional examinations in both classroom and online formats
- Leveraging educational expertise to assist in the establishment of a new team and business unit
- Delivering courses in alignment with FI's educational programs and materials
- Addressing student inquiries during and outside of class hours
- Providing constructive feedback on student submissions
- Submitting necessary reports and feedback to client managers
Requirements
Essential:
- Eligibility to work in the UK and residing in the UK
- Qualified Accountant (minimum L7 standard or equivalent)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in and out of the classroom
- A genuine passion for knowledge sharing and supporting others
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- A positive and solution-focused work attitude
- Ability to adapt to varying work demands
- Confident and professional demeanor when engaging with clients and colleagues
- Experience in cross-functional project teams involving commercial and educational staff
- Familiarity with accounting qualifications and apprenticeship standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office tools
