Job Title: Programme Planning Manager

Network Rail is seeking an experienced Programme Planning Manager to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Programme Planning team, you will be responsible for producing programme planning information to support the delivery of all project work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Programme Planning team by providing vision and leadership, with a focus on continuous improvement in both works and access planning systems.
  • Interface with all other departments and external stakeholders to provide robust planning for the Project.
  • Coordinate all planning and scheduling information from project teams, maintenance contractors, and regional investment teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project/Programme planning and associated software planning tools.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in major engineering projects, ideally in Rail.
  • Ability to use basic and advanced IT systems, including Primavera P6.
  • Proven experience of working with technical engineering staff and communicating well at all levels of the organisation.
  • Graduate level with some degree of strategic thinking.
  • Must be prepared to travel and stay away from home when required.
