Executive Director of Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Parent Infant Center (PIC) in West Philadelphia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, non-profit management, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the administrative and teaching staff to achieve the organizational mission
- Represent PIC to internal and external communities
- Guide the Board of Directors
- Act as steward of the Center's vision
- Manage and lead internal teams to ensure financial sustainability and growth, continuous quality improvement, and regulatory and accreditation compliance
- Develop and monitor the budget
- Recruit and supervise the management team
- HR manual updates and consistent implementation of all HR policies and procedures
- Facilities cleanliness and maintenance
- Key driver of fundraising
- Lead communication efforts to staff, families, and the PIC community
- MA in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Non-Profit Management, or related field
- Five years' experience working with both preschool and school-age children in formal or informal educational settings
- Two years' experience in non-profit administration required; previous experience as Executive Director preferred
- Clear, professional written and oral communication
- Solid computer skills and familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, accounting and database programs
- Child abuse clearance, state police clearance, FBI fingerprinting clearance, and NSR
- PA Director's Credential and PQAS certification for training are a plus
Starting salary range is approximately $90k-$115k, commensurate with experience.
