About the Role

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team on a bank basis. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Social Support - Assist individuals in engaging with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities, such as day centers, cinema, swimming, and more.
  • Medical Support - Administer and monitor medication as required, ensuring the health and safety of our service users.
  • Practical Support - Provide assistance with daily household tasks, including general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping, to help individuals maintain their tenancy.

As a Support Practitioner, you will work closely with our team to develop personalized support plans, promoting the autonomy and dignity of our service users. You will also have the opportunity to shadow experienced Support Practitioners and receive comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
