Job Title: Bank Nursery Practitioner

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and passionate individual to support our nursery colleagues in delivering high-quality care and education to our children. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Working as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation.
  • Promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contributing to a positive, happy, and safe environment for all children and staff.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate with:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children, such as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder.
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable.
