The University of Brighton is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the operational development and delivery of its expanding portfolio of higher and degree apprenticeships. Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust business processes, ensuring excellent customer service, and providing strategic leadership for apprenticeships and technical education.
This role sits within the Technical Education and Apprenticeships Hub, which has a remit to provide cross-university strategic leadership for apprenticeships, technical education, and strategic partnership developments with colleges.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of managing the delivery of apprenticeships in a higher education or further education context.
- Strong understanding of the rapidly evolving policy landscape in skills and technical education.
- Experience of providing effective operational management of staff in a complex, fast-paced environment, working with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and key performance indicators.
