Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team at Jobwise Ltd. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing quotations for projects, reviewing client requirements, and submitting accurate and detailed estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quotations from drawings and specifications based on client instructions
  • Accurately measure and draw up plans that are well-presented
  • Produce costings and complete quotations
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their requirements are met
  • Review sub-contractors and suppliers quotations
  • Deal with enquiries and written correspondence relating to estimates
  • Negotiate final submissions with clients to convert estimates into orders
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in estimating or quantity surveying within the construction industry
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational and prioritising skills
  • Ability to work well from initiative and make decisions as appropriate
  • UK Driving license is essential for site visits and commuting
What We Offer:
  • Salary up to GBP35k, dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with a 3.30pm finish on Fridays
