Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Luxury Hotel Fit-Out

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team for an iconic luxury hotel fit-out in the heart of London's West End.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Management: Develop and manage comprehensive budgets for the project, ensuring all costs are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Tender Processes: Lead the preparation of detailed tender documents, including bills of quantities, schedules, and specifications.
  • Contract Administration: Manage all aspects of contract negotiation and administration, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, including cash flow forecasts, cost-to-complete estimates, and variance analysis.
  • Value Engineering: Conduct thorough value engineering assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the high standards of quality and luxury expected in hotel fit-outs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and project managers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress against the project timeline and budget, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically within high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
