Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Northern Region

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join Fawkes & Reece (North), a leading Tier 1 Contractor specializing in high-rise residential developments, student accommodation, and high-end offices. Our projects range in value from £20m to £150m.

We are renowned in the market for delivering exciting developments across the North West, and due to our success and growth, we are now looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Northern Region.

The Role - Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key member of our team and will report to the Senior QS and Commercial Manager overseeing the project. The initial project is a large £60m high-rise development in the Northern Region, and you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials, labour, and services required in the construction and refurbishment of building works in relation to both estimating and post-contract duties.
  • Sub-contract procurement.
  • Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract.

Required Experience as a Quantity Surveyor

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • At least 2-5 years post-graduate experience.
