An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to take on the role of Team Manager in the Older Adult Community Mental Health Services at Greater Manchester Mental Health. This position will involve leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to service users with mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the day-to-day operational management of the team, ensuring the delivery of clinical pathways and standards.
- Participating in the Community Services Management Team to oversee the management of community-based secondary mental health services.
- Contributing to the development of the team and service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in mental health services, with a strong understanding of older adult services.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, service users, and stakeholders.
- Experience in service improvement and quality assurance, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
