As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our strategic vision and ensuring that we deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse range of nursing and midwifery staff across various settings, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to nursing and midwifery teams, ensuring alignment with the Trust's overall objectives.
- Develop and implement innovative models of care that promote patient well-being and support individuals in remaining healthy and independent.
- Champion a culture of safety and learning, driving improvements in patient outcomes and staff engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the health and social care system to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimize resource utilization.
- Lead and manage change initiatives, fostering a positive and supportive environment for staff development and growth.
Essential Criteria
- Proven track record of success in senior nursing or midwifery leadership roles within the NHS.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change effectively in complex environments.
- Strong financial acumen and business management skills.
- Commitment to inclusion and diversity, fostering a welcoming and equitable workplace for all.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in acute and community healthcare settings.
- Postgraduate qualifications in nursing or healthcare management.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies, such as the Royal College of Nursing (RCN).
