Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom

About the Role: Adamas Lux is seeking a detail-oriented and systematic Inventory Control Specialist to enhance our operational efficiency. In this position, you will oversee stock management, ensure proper organization of inventory, and facilitate the seamless functioning of our stockroom. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring that products are accessible to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and assess incoming inventory shipments, confirming accuracy and quality in alignment with purchase agreements.
  • Unpack and arrange products in the stockroom, ensuring items are stored in a systematic and secure manner.
  • Label and tag products as necessary while maintaining precise records of inventory movements.
  • Assist in inventory oversight tasks, including performing regular stock audits and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Restock merchandise on the sales floor by transferring items from the stockroom to displays and shelves.
  • Support the execution of inventory control protocols to reduce loss and uphold accurate inventory documentation.
  • Help organize promotional displays and seasonal arrangements as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure stockroom activities comply with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized stockroom space, ensuring all products are stored correctly and the area is hazard-free.
  • Engage in team discussions and contribute insights on inventory management and operational practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in inventory management or retail operations is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a stockroom or inventory role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management software and stock control systems.
  • Physical capability to lift and move products as necessary.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • A positive demeanor, enthusiasm for retail, and a commitment to efficient stockroom operations.
