We are seeking a dedicated Chemistry Instructor to deliver exceptional educational experiences and actively engage in the academic and supportive initiatives of our curriculum area while adhering to established policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a Career-Oriented Learning strategy
• Travel across the institution for instructional duties as required
• Contribute to the development of the curriculum area
• Design lesson plans tailored to student needs
• Assign and evaluate coursework in accordance with policies
• Track and assess student progress
• Participate in documenting student achievements
• Engage in college events
• Conduct interviews with prospective students
• Facilitate the induction process for new students
• Supervise learners effectively
• Attend meetings related to the curriculum area
• Ensure safety supervision is exercised
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet deadlines
• Address learner issues and concerns
• Provide guidance in line with policies and legislation
• Utilize strong organizational and time management skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
• Experience in teaching BTEC courses
• Ability to work with students at levels 1, 2, and 3
• Knowledge of Safeguarding and relevant legislation
