Job Title: Chemistry Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated educator to deliver exceptional instruction and actively engage in the academic and supportive initiatives of our curriculum area while following established policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a Career-Focused Learning strategy
  • Facilitate teaching across various locations as required
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the curriculum area
  • Design lesson plans tailored to student requirements
  • Assign and evaluate student work in accordance with policies
  • Track and assess student progress
  • Participate in documenting student achievements
  • Engage in college events
  • Conduct interviews with prospective students
  • Prepare and execute the induction process
  • Effectively supervise learners
  • Attend meetings related to the curriculum area
  • Ensure safety supervision
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet deadlines
  • Address learner issues and concerns
  • Provide guidance in line with policies and regulations
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemistry
  • Experience in teaching BTEC courses
  • Ability to work with students at levels 1, 2, and 3
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding and relevant legislation
