Job Summary:We are recruiting for a leading main contractor in the construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects across the UK. With a strong commitment to safety and excellence, we are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to oversee all health and safety aspects across a range of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to site teams on all health and safety matters.
- Deliver training and toolbox talks to site staff and subcontractors.
- Maintain and update health and safety management systems and documentation.
- Liaise with site management and project teams to ensure health and safety is integrated into all project planning and operations.
- Report on health and safety performance to senior management and recommend improvements.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
