About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Program Manager to join our Amazon UK Services Ltd. team. As a key member of our Business Continuity Team, you will be responsible for supporting contingency planning for our end-to-end logistics network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the Business Continuity Program, including risk assessments, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, exercising, crisis management, and supporting the End-to-End disruption management playbook and peak planning.
  • Support operational recovery of the network during events such as adverse weather, wildfires, civil unrest, global health crises, or similar external factors.
  • Develop and maintain playbooks to prepare for and respond to crisis management or severe events.
  • Work with stakeholders across every team and modality to analyze and operationalize severe event and crisis responses and apply network protections.
  • Communicate complex information to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
