Senior Development Chemist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Chemist to join our team at Rowland Talent Solutions limited. As a Senior Development Chemist, you will be responsible for leading projects in small scale process development and scale up of fine chemicals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out small scale process development of chemicals.
  • Lead projects in scale-up from laboratory scale through to production.
  • Complete all documentation for research development and scale-up projects.
  • Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Work with other teams including Research, Production and Quality Control.
  • Lead and train junior members of the team.

Requirements:

  • A degree/Masters (MChem, MSc, MSci) or PhD in Chemistry/Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
  • Previous industrial experience working in a process development role.
