Job Title: Community Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Safety Coordinator to join our team at the London Borough of Camden. As a key member of our Community Safety Partnership, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies to improve community safety and reduce crime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community safety strategies that align with the Camden Community Safety Partnership and the Camden Youth Safety Taskforce.
  • Lead the Women's Safety Action Plan and improve hate crime reporting.
  • Provide policy advice to senior leaders and engage with stakeholders to drive meaningful change in local communities.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to analyze community needs and present complex information clearly.
Requirements:
  • Strategic thinking and experience in developing community programs that strengthen cohesion and resilience.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects independently.
  • A network within Camden's communities and relevant professional qualifications.
