We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing patient-centered care to our inpatients on the acute medical and surgical wards.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop treatment plans to facilitate safe and timely hospital discharge for patients with acute medical needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients' needs and wishes are recognized, supported, and met.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase independence and wellbeing in discharge environments.
- Contribute to service development and improvement through quality improvement projects, self-development, and continuous review of practice.
