Family Support Worker

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to children, young people, and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide practical assistance, support, and guidance to parents to enable them to care and protect their children successfully.
* Support families to establish good local community networks and support mechanisms to promote their self-help skills and resilience.
* Encourage parents to keep medical and other appointments linked to their families' development, which may include transporting them to appointments and meetings.
* Foster effective working relationships with service users, partner agencies, and other professionals.
* Work directly with children and young people using a variety of methods and interventions.

**Requirements**

* Ability to communicate and liaise with colleagues from other agencies in the statutory, community/voluntary sector.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
