Smart Sourcer is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Cost Management Specialist to join our team and drive the culture change to cloud cost management ownership & optimization through the evolution of associated governance and process.

About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a global enterprise and a famous brand within the 'magic circle' of the legal sector, celebrated for its technology innovation. The business is midway through migrating its entire global infrastructure to the serverless public cloud (Azure), and we're looking for a FinOps Specialist to continue to drive the culture change to cloud cost management ownership & optimization through the evolution of associated governance and process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and drive the adoption of FinOps governance and processes
  • Secure 'buy in' and manage stakeholders across technology, finance, and procurement at senior management and 'C' level with a high degree of credibility
  • Experience with cloud usage and cost analysis, as well as reporting with Power BI (or similar)
  • Highly articulate with a personable manner

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in FinOps within large, global enterprises
  • Deep understanding of serverless public cloud cost management in Azure, including forecasting and optimization
  • Ideal certification as a FinOps Practitioner or FinOps Professional, or currently undertaking studies to become certified

What We Offer

£65k-£73k + bonus + extensive benefits. 12-month fixed term contract.
