We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (type 2) to live their best life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, including cooking, eating, getting dressed, and personal care.
- Assist with driving and transportation, as needed.
- Support with household chores and organization.
- Engage in deep conversations about history, politics, philosophy, science, psychology, sociology, football, music, and UFC.
- Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized living space.
- No prior experience in care or support is required, as training will be provided.
- Good general health and stamina are essential.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the individual's needs.
