We are currently looking for Operational Team Managers to oversee our logistics operations. This position plays a crucial role within the management team, reporting directly to the Shift Manager. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of Team Managers to ensure the efficient running of warehouse activities on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising Warehouse Colleagues and Administrators to consistently meet Key Performance Indicators and provide exceptional customer service.
- Working the 14:00 - 22:00 shift, across any 5 days of the week, with a competitive salary of £37,000.
- Weekend and bank holiday availability is required due to the continuous operation of the facility.
Main Duties:
- Reporting to Warehouse Shift Managers.
- Collaborating with peers to enhance performance related to customer orders, as well as inbound and outbound loading and unloading.
- Ensuring clear operational procedures and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Leading and inspiring a team of Warehouse Colleagues.
- Advocating for Health & Safety standards.
- Upholding company and customer values.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proficient English language skills.
- Experience in a warehouse setting with management systems.
- A commitment to continuous improvement.
- Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- Experience handling employee relations issues and managing time effectively.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and data analysis capabilities.
- Customer-oriented with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Enthusiastic and adaptable to change.
