Job Description

Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd is a leading provider of wind turbine maintenance services, offering a comprehensive package of solutions to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Carry out unscheduled maintenance and retrofits, as well as emergency breakdown and major component exchanges.
  • Lead a team of technicians to ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.
  • Replace major turbine components, such as generators and gearboxes.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Assist in all areas of site operations, including providing safe access and egress to all personnel.
  • Establish and maintain general safety protocols from the system.
  • Comply with customer site rules and report all incidents and occurrences as per Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd's Health and Safety policy.
  • Be willing to undergo training and conduct statutory inspections as required.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements:
  • Relevant formal qualifications, minimum SVQ/NVQ level 3 (electrical, mechanical, etc.) and/or comprehensive experience in a relevant industry.
  • Ideal candidates will have two years of experience in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment, such as wind farms, power stations, or industrial process plants.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Valid health and safety certificates.
  • IT proficiency on MS Suite.
