We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Head of Financial Crime Operations to join our team on a 10-month Fixed-Term Contract. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
As Deputy Head, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Financial Crime Operations in managing day-to-day tasks and projects. You will provide expert guidance to our Screening and Enhanced Due Diligence teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial crime regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Head of Financial Crime Operations in managing operational tasks and projects.
- Offer expert guidance and mentorship to the Screening and Enhanced Due Diligence teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Generate clear and concise management reports, providing insights into financial crime operations and trends.
- Represent the Financial Crime Operations team in various forums and meetings, effectively communicating key information and updates.
- Proactively identify opportunities for enhancing risk identification and management processes within the organization.
- Evaluate existing systems and processes, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
About You
You possess a deep understanding of financial crime regulations and operational experience in this field. Your background ideally includes working within an Insurance company, Bank, or other financial services firm. Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
