Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with government and legal regulations through policy enforcement or adherence to legal guidelines.
- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, including COSHH, to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Lead scenario training and emergency drills to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Educate and train employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Develop and maintain internal audit programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including 45001 and 14001.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve safety and compliance goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree-level education in a relevant subject, such as environmental science or occupational health and safety.
