Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Remote with occasional office visits

Compensation: £30,000 - £35,000

Role Summary

As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting clients on a daily basis. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a professional telephone and email demeanor, and meticulous attention to detail when addressing and resolving client support inquiries.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Project deployment
  • Client training sessions
  • Upgrading existing client systems
  • Implementing new client installations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in software support and bespoke applications

• Strong client management skills with a commitment to service excellence

• Proven ability to deliver training to clients

• Understanding of networking and 3-tier architecture

• Familiarity with APIs and Web Services Support

• Proficient scripting skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows

• Experience navigating business and organizational changes in complex environments

• Proficiency with Service Desk tools such as Jira Service Desk or Service Now

• Experience with Citrix and remote server management
