About this Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and delivery-focused individual to join our dynamic and fast-paced Asset Optimisation team in Group Corporate Treasury. As a Capital Optimisation and Securitisation Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Group's strategic objective to deliver greater capital efficiency across the business through asset balance sheet optimisation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams across Group business units to gain valuable insight into the products they write and the asset-side balance sheet constraints they face.
- Use your knowledge and technical skills to find opportunities to address these constraints, allowing the businesses to continue to grow, thrive, and achieve their goals.
- Implement and lead securitisations from a modelling and stakeholder management perspective to deliver strategic initiatives at pace.
- Complete securitisation transactions to meet capital optimisation requirements and ensure accounting, regulatory implications are captured appropriately.
- Find opportunities to improve our balance sheet, making recommendations to senior management on matters such as enhancing returns, RWA reduction, exposure mitigation, and stress test impact.
- Owning and developing the Group Securitisation and Significant Risk Transfer policy to ensure appropriate oversight of all Group securitisations, engaging both internal and external partners, for example, the PRA.
- Understanding changes to relevant regulations to ensure the Group is prepared and makes well-informed decisions to mitigate any risks.

What You'll Need
- Highly motivated and delivery-focused individual.
- Strong analytical skills, including cash flow modelling for securitisation transactions.
- An understanding of the bank and its balance sheet, a curiosity about balance sheet optimisation, and its interaction with other Treasury and Group activities.
- Bringing some expertise in securitisation, technical accounting, or a good understanding of economic return metrics such as RWA or leverage.
- A consistent track record of building collaborative relationships and the ability to influence key partners.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- You'll have a passion for improving processes, being able to prioritise, and work at pace.
