ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STRUCTURAL REPAIR ENGINEER:

This position offers the chance to be part of a team dedicated to the static strength evaluation of both metallic and composite structures. The team collaborates closely with Design and Failure & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) engineers to evaluate and validate repairs for compromised aircraft structures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing justification reports and various engineering documentation
  • Collaborating with experienced designers to create optimal repair solutions
  • Utilizing ISAMI and Mathcad for conducting structural static strength evaluations of repairs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STRUCTURAL REPAIR ENGINEER:

  • Background in Aircraft Structural Engineering
  • Proficiency in ISAMI and Mathcad
  • Experience employing a variety of manual and computational techniques for static analysis
  • Capability to undergo a security clearance process
