Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Outsource UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Preventive and Corrective Maintenance tasks, ensuring they are all suitably planned, actioned, and carried out.

This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent upon experience and qualifications) plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide hands-on support to technicians in maintaining critical equipment, including pumps, fans, pipework, and safety systems.
  2. Monitor and manage maintenance costs, identifying areas for improvement and initiating necessary actions to meet targets.
  3. Develop and review maintenance strategies in alignment with production, supply chain, and product strategies.
  4. Utilize data analysis to identify and implement reliability improvement programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Requirements:
  1. Experience within a similar role with sound knowledge of engineering principles – this could be either Mechanically or Electrically biased.
  2. Have an understanding and continuous practice of maintenance tools and techniques.
  3. Possess relevant CMMS knowledge and experience.
  4. Possess a relevant qualification and have previous experience in engineering and maintenance of process plant or related equipment.
