Building Management Systems Technician

As a Building Management Systems (BMS) Technician, your primary responsibility will be to conduct regular maintenance across various locations and address urgent requests from our Maintenance Operations Team. You will also handle minor projects such as the installation of BMS controllers, modules, sensors, or actuators at client facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine BMS service visits
  • Respond promptly to BMS service requests
  • Assist the maintenance operations team with client inquiries
  • Monitor site fault logs and complete minor tasks
  • Deliver clear and precise reports during service visits
  • Propose enhancements for site operations
  • Execute small-scale BMS projects
  • Participate in client meetings and maintain effective communication
  • Foster relationships with clients and suppliers

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with BMS technologies such as Trend, Delta, Johnsons, or Tridium
  • Proficient in system controls and operational strategies
  • Experience with motor control centers and control panel schematics
  • Understanding of Trend networking and supervisory systems
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong collaborative skills with effective written communication
