We are seeking an experienced Level Crossing Supervisor to join our team at Colas Rail UK. As a key member of our signalling team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising work groups, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of level crossings.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise work groups to ensure the safe and efficient installation of level crossings.
- Monitor site progress, report on site activities, and brief staff on project requirements.
- Manage installation costs, maintain records, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing signalling and level crossing installation team.
- Allocate resources to projects, manage team utilization, and deliver activities within agreed timelines.
- Ensure quality work, safety integrity, and compliance with Network Rail and Colas Rail procedures.
- Hold or working towards Engineering Manager (Installation) IRSE License.
- Hold or be able to hold SMTH & G110 (Tester & Author Checker).
- Hold PTS, COSS/IWA track safety competencies.
- Experience in level crossing installation and testing, ideally including object detection systems.
- Proven experience of team leadership and influencing staff.
- Previous experience of signalling and telecoms installation and construction activities with a thorough working knowledge of Network Rail standards.
