The role: A new opportunity has arisen for a Stores Coordinator to join our existing team. This is a permanent full-time position offering 37.5 hours a week. The role will be responsible for the coordination of all stores functions, including stock control, incoming and outgoing stock, and materials, as well as the delivery and pick-up of EnerMech equipment to optimize and improve the movement of freight using the company's trucks.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions, and check that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
  • Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles and using other equipment as necessary.
  • Accurately maintain and monitor stock and stock levels, advising requirements to procurement for timely reordering.
  • Book incoming stock and materials into the ERP system, matching up purchase orders, checking quantity, quality, and certification of incoming products.
  • Pick and issue all stock requested for workshops and business lines, including raw materials and spares, locate in designated areas, and update the ERP system daily.
  • Advise procurement and relevant business lines of any shortages against requested stock.
  • Conduct checks to ensure all despatch documentation, including certification, is complete.

You are:

To be successful in this position, you must have a Full UK driving license and a valid B1 Forklift license. You will have previous stock control experience, as well as Goods In/Goods Out experience. You will have experience using ERP Systems, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
