We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our KS2 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, other professionals, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
  • Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and sessions to small groups, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Have a deep understanding of children's needs, enabling you to plan and deliver targeted interventions that make a real difference.
  • Establish trusting relationships with pupils, interacting with them in a way that supports their individual needs and promotes their well-being.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience working with children in a school setting, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • A passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
  • Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs, with a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance, with assistance provided if required.
