About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Arc School Napton, part of the Kedleston Group. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children with communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children with communication needs, providing therapy services to meet their individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, staff meetings, supervision, training, and annual appraisals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.
  • Contribute to the development of the learning environment and support program to improve and expand our offer to younger pupils and those with limited communication skills or being non-verbal.
  • Work in collaboration with other Speech and Language Therapists to support the development of the Speech and Language Therapy services across the Kedleston Group.

About Us

Arc School Napton is an independent specialist primary school for children and young people aged between 5 and 11. We provide a safe learning environment for children and young people with educational and social needs associated with ADHD, attachment disorder, autism, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. Some children have social emotional and mental health needs.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and engage in annual safeguarding training. You will be expected to remain vigilant and act swiftly if you have concerns about a child and be an appropriate role model for both children and colleagues at all times.
